Leading the way in treating a wide range of ear, nose and throat health issues.

The true nature of ear, nose and throat problems can be difficult to detect and treat in children. Our highly trained head and neck surgeons and specialists can determine the root cause of the problem and devise an effective course of treatment using the most advanced technologies and techniques available. What's more, they work closely with other specialists throughout the hospital, including audiologist and speech pathologists, creating a coordinated center of excellence in ENT.

At Florida Hospital for Children we are deeply dedicated to providing your children with the best possible care in a friendly, welcoming environment where pain and discomfort is kept to a minimum.

Our ear, nose and throat specialists are leading the way in developing and utilizing leading edge surgical and nonsurgical therapies to treat a wide range of head and neck problems, including tonsillectomies that are less painful, thanks to the use of Coblation or microdebrider technology. For example, the use of a microdebrider, which has a small rotating tip, can remove 95% of the tonsils very precisely, leaving just a thin layer of tissue that protects the throat muscles. This greatly reduces postoperative pain and recovery time.

One of the latest advances is endoscopic sinus surgery using digital guidance technologies. The use of real-time imaging allows the surgeon to conduct complex sinus procedures with far greater accuracy than ever before.

The skill to heal. The spirit to care.
