At the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases, our mission is to cure and prevent childhood and adolescent cancer through scientific discovery and compassionate care. We are proud to have served the children of Central Florida for the past 16 years and as a full member of the Children's Oncology Group (COG), we offer patients the choice of participation in cooperative group clinical trials. This opportunity gives patients and their families the potential of receiving cutting edge, state-of-the-art therapies not otherwise available. We are also very proud to have been named one of only three Children’s Tumor Foundation-funded comprehensive neurofibromatosis clinics in the state of Florida. Through this clinic we give integrated care not only to children with neurofibromatosis, but their adult family members as well.
We encourage you to contact our office regarding any patient that you believe to be an appropriate candidate for any of these programs. Call (407) 303-2080 to submit a case or to learn more about our involvement with COG.
