Fouad Hajjar, MD
Medical Director of Hematology/Oncology
For the last two decades, Dr. Hajjar has been co-director of the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases at the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute. He also serves as medical director of hematology/oncology at Florida Hospital for Children.
Dr. Hajjar is backed by a highly skilled and experienced team of doctors, specialists and support staff who handle a wide range of pediatric blood and cancer conditions, from leukemia and lymphoma to hemophilia, anemia and tumors.
Education and Experience
Dr. Hajjar earned his medical degree at St. Joseph’s University Medical School in Beirut, Lebanon. After graduation, he went on to serve his pediatric medicine residency at Buffalo Children’s Hospital, State University of New York at Buffalo, and his pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.
