Dr. Gitanjali Srivastava, MD - Medical Director, Obesity Medicine
Studying under one of the world’s top experts in metabolic medicine, she completed her fellowship in Obesity Medicine & Clinical Nutrition from Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Prior, Dr. Srivastava was a hospitalist in her hometown of Baton Rouge, LA, and then a primary care physician in New Hampshire for several years. She completed her residency and training in Internal Medicine – Pediatrics at the Mount Sinai Hospital New York in 2007.
She received her medical degree with honors from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Among her many awards was the Timothy Ware Schurtz Memorial Scholarship and the National Cancer Research Scholarship for her outstanding academic achievement in the medical sciences and gene therapy research, respectively. She also received numerous awards and recognition as a young physician, among them from the American Academy of Pediatrics and American College of Physicians.
Dr. Keith Kim, MD - Medical Director, Weight Loss (Bariatric) Surgery
Dr. Kim, as one of the most respected bariatric specialists nationally and internationally, leads the Celebration Health Obesity Medicine and Surgery Institute. He is a board certified surgeon, focusing his efforts on bariatric surgery and weight loss treatment. Dr. Kim has performed more than 2,000 bariatric surgeries and continues to make a tremendous impact on this rapidly advancing field of medicine. His expertise continues to lead to invitations from around the globe to speak to and train other surgeons on his advanced techniques.
Dr. Kim is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and is the Co-director for the International Gastric Band Summit. Previously, he completing his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina School at Chapel Hill and continued his graduate work at the university’s School of Medicine. Following, Dr. Kim completed his medical residency with the University of North Carolina Hospitals, Chapel Hill.
