Award-winning Diabetes Program
According to the latest numbers from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, diabetes affects over 25 million people in U.S.—and those numbers are growing rapidly. What’s more, just under one third are estimated to be undiagnosed.1
Whether you are being tested for or are diagnosed with Type 1, Type 2 or pre-diabetes, we’ll work closely with your primary care physician to develop a plan designed specifically for you to help monitor and manage your condition.
Learning to Live with Diabetes
If you are newly diagnosed with diabetes, there’s a lot of information you and your family will need to know. Education is the key to living with your condition, and our team of nationally certified registered nurses and dietitians in diabetes education will teach you how. We’ll provide complete, interactive training taught in a way that is easy for you to understand.
Nationally Recognized Instruction
Our all-inclusive, copyrighted training features a variety of 3-D models, audio-visual aids and a reference manual to help you better understand diabetes. You’ll learn how to control it by monitoring your blood glucose levels, administering insulin and medication, and more. We include a meal plan designed specifically for you, individualized medication counseling and post-education follow-up. You’ll quickly learn how to self-manage your diabetes and your family will know what they need to do to help.
Our training has been awarded recognition from the American Diabetes Association for meeting the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education programs.
