Cavernous Malformation

Symptoms and Signs of Cavernous Malformation

Symptoms of cavernous malformations usually only occur in individuals between the ages of 20 and 50, and depend on the location and size of the malformation. These include headaches, seizures, vision or hearing changes, weakness or paralysis, and difficulty thinking clearly or remembering things. In some cases, when the malformations rupture, it can lead to stroke, seizure or death.
