At Florida Hospital Carrollwood, we’re committed to empowering the members of our community to take charge of their own healthcare. This means communicating with patients throughout their time with us, whether it’s helping them understand what to expect before or after surgery, discharge planning and pain management. We also work closely with our patients to make sure they’re aware of and understand any medical devices that may be connected to them after surgery, as well as when they’ll get to see their family and visitors.
We are also proud to offer our patients access to the GetWell Network. This service offers patients an opportunity to learn more about their condition and treatment by watching health information videos on the television in their room.
