We strive for fast diagnosis and treatment for our patients through smooth communication, excellent medical treatment and punctual customer service.
With our 24-hour on-call physician coverage, we provide specialist care for patients in every area of medicine, including:

What You Need to Know Before Visiting the Emergency Room
Knowing when to seek emergency medical services for your family can help save their lives. The list below includes many of the symptoms of a sickness, injury or mental illness that requires emergency services:
- Symptoms of a suspected stroke
- Symptoms of a suspected heart attack
- Complicated fractures (broken bones)
- Deep wounds
- Vomiting/coughing up blood
- Serious trauma to the head
- Major allergic reactions
- Severe difficulty breathing
- Serious burns
Remember, this is only a sample of the symptoms you or your loved one may have when they are in need of emergency services. When in doubt, call 911.
- Insurance Card
- Photo I.D.
- Name and phone number of your primary care doctor
- A list of medications you currently take and any drug allergies
- Advance directives: Living Will, Do-Not-Resuscitate orders and Power of Attorney. When you arrive at the Florida Hospital Carrollwood emergency room, the first thing to expect is assessed by a registered nurse (RN) to evaluate your medical condition to determine the order in which patients will be seen. The most immediate, life-threatening conditions will be seen first. The nurse will ask for your information and check your vital signs.
