Brain Port image-guided brain surgery is most often used to treat tumors within the parenchyma (the substance of the brain) and ventricles (the fluid-filled spaces of the brain), including: adenocarcinoma, astrocytoma, brain metastases, brain tumors, cavernous angioma, cavernous hemangioma, central neurocytoma, cerebral cavernous malformation, choroid plexus tumors, colloid cysts, dermoid and epidermoid tumors, ependymomas and glioblastomas.
