Florida Hospital Teams Up with the Magic for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

POSTED BY: Sydney Hirst

Florida Hospital is teaming up with the Orlando Magic to take breast cancer awareness to the next level and honor breast cancer survivors at the same time.  You can make a difference too by just going to the game!

The Magic will face off in their first Pink in the Paint Game on October 20th against the Pistons, donating a portion of every ticket to help support the Florida Hospital Breast Cancer Care Fund.

The Pink in the Paint Game will be entirely pinked out, including “VIP Pink” pregame reception for more than 100 breast cancer survivors, as well as pink Magic T-shirts and “bam-bam” sticks at the door. Florida Hospital and the Magic are encouraging all fans to wear pink!

Six Central Florida breast cancer survivors are the featured honorees of the game, where they will watch the action from courtside seats and take part in game opening and halftime ceremony.

Fans can get more information on breast cancer and even get a mammogram at the “VIP Pink” pregame on Church Street.  Florida Hospital’s Pink Army mobile mammogram unit for mammograms will be on-site, with breast cancer information plus games and music.

Join Florida Hospital and the Orlando Magic in supporting these breast cancer survivors by purchasing a Pink in the Paint Game ticket. Tickets start as low as $18, and the Orlando Magic will donate $5 to the Florida Hospital Breast Cancer Care Fund, funding breast cancer screenings and treatment for the women of Central Florida. Do your part this October for breast cancer awareness month, and bring your family out to the Pink in the Paint Game!

Be sure and purchase your Pink in the Paint Game tickets using this link to help fight back against breast cancer in Central Florida.
