    Cleft lip and cleft palate are among the most common birth defects in the world. These deformities can be life-threatening and emotionally traumatizing. More children in Latin America and the Caribbean are born with cleft lip and palate than in the United States. With your support today, Sharing Smiles will provide cleft lip and palate surgery, pediatric dentistry and pediatric physical therapy to help children in developing countries.

    Compassionate Care Inspires Generosity

    Sam felt everyone involved in Barbara’s treatment and care was interested in her welfare. Doctors, nurses and hospital staff alike all worked to make her feel comfortable and happy. The personal, compassionate care really showed, especially in her final days. In the time spent at the hospital, they came to appreciate how much the staff meant to them and recognized how the skill to heal and the spirit to care were exemplified every day.
