Minimally Invasive Surgery
Our surgical team performs the latest robotic procedures using the da Vinci® Surgical System. The system uses high-definition 3D vision and a magnified view along with tiny micro-instruments to provide increased precision. Using this system we were able to make history with Dr. Sweet performing the very first single-site hysterectomy in Seminole County. This system allows our surgeons to perform complex operations through just a few small openings resulting in less pain and a faster return to normal activities. Among the procedures and conditions we treat using this minimally invasive approach:
- Pelvic pain
- Ovarian masses
- Repair of prolapsed and urinary incontinence
