How To Intern

1. Send resume by email to Fh.Volunteer.Services@flhosp.org or fax to 407.303.5966, attention Erin Simmons.

2. Schedule an INTERVIEW with the Volunteer Services representative and department staff contact.
Please bring a copy of your school objectives and any necessary requirements. You will be given guidelines, schedule and staff contact information.

3 . If internship position is offered attend volunteer hospital orientation . Please bring completed Intern Application, badge form, background check, and any other paperwork.

DIRECTIONS TO ORIENTATION: Take I-4 to Princeton Exit #85. Take Princeton East to Orange Avenue, left on Orange Avenue, right on King Street. Turn right and enter the Florida Hospital parking garage. Take stairs or elevator to 3 rd floor and ask for directions at the Information desk across from elevator, OR take crosswalk toward main hospital and take elevator at end of crosswalk on right to level B. On Level B look for Barker Conference room

4 . Get TB TEST at Employee Clinic ( no charge )

5. Get your ID BADGE number from the Volunteer Office.
Please see ID Badge location below. Your ID Badge picture should be taken in the Orlando Human Resources office 2608 No. Orange ave. or call 407/303-1997 for directions hours of operation 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays / 7 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Fridays.

6. Department staff contact will call you to set up training, unless it was set up during the interview.
