Facilities & Tours
Amenities
Our
birthing rooms at Florida Hospital Orlando, Winter Park, Altamonte and Celebration allow
you to stay in a private room from the time you check in until after
your baby is born; then you move to another private room on the Maternal unit and at Florida Hospital Celebration Health,
until you check out of the hospital. Amenities, which vary from
campus to campus, include large rooms, showers or whirlpool baths,
ceiling fans, and rockers or recliners.
Maternal-Infant
Unit
We recognize
the importance of the parent-infant bonding experience and make
every effort to keep the family together as much as possible after
birth. Babies routinely stay in their mother's rooms during their
hospital stay. While in the Maternal-Infant Unit, the nurse caring
for you will also care for your baby and answer your questions. Amenities vary from campus to campus but may include afternoon tea, massage and daily visits by a certified lactation consultant.
Birth Coordinator
Many
parents want to welcome their new baby in a special way. Our
birth coordinator can answer your questions, arrange a tour, discuss
options available at the hospital and help with any special requests. To talk with the birth coordinator, call 407/303-7386.
