Florida Hospital Transplant Center
One of the oldest organ transplant centers in the country, Florida Hospital Orlando’s Transplant Center has handled more than 2,000 kidney transplants since it opened its doors to patients in 1973. The center also handles kidney/pancreas and liver transplants.
Transplant surgery can be a very stressful experience for our patients. That’s why we go out of our way to keep you in the loop throughout your care, keeping you abreast of what’s going on, letting you participate in the decision making process, and providing education about the transplant process, post-operative care and how to live a full life following a transplant.
Each of our transplant surgeons is board certified and has extensive experience in transplantation. They are supported by a clinical team that is not only certified in transplants, but is dedicated to ensuring that your kidney, kidney/pancreas or liver transplant is a successful. Everyone at Florida Hospital Orlando will work diligently toward your full recovery and rehabilitation.
