What is a Spiritual Ambassador?
First, what it isn't:
A means of getting people to accept your beliefs because they feel an obligation based on your friendship.
Extending your friendship to someone because you think they need a greater faith and trust in God and you are going to show them.
Using your friendship with someone to try and change some bad habit and/or lifestyle.
Making friends with people because you feel a responsibility to straighten them out regarding Bible truths.
What it is:
A sincere desire to share the love of God by demonstrating thoughtfulness and caring for every person, while respecting their personal choices and beliefs.
A willingness to be available to encourage God's purpose for your friend without pushing what you may think they need.
A willingness to be intentional about sharing your witness or providing comfort and support through scripture and prayer when someone demonstrates an interest and asks.
A sincere desire to develop meaningful relationships with individuals, regardless of their personal faith decisions, because they bring such a blessing to your own life and work experience.
Extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by learning to love people the way God loves them, unconditionally.
