Florida Hospital Orlando’s Barker Conference Rooms.*
Presented by Loch Haven OB/GYN Physicians Ashley Hill, MD, & Jennifer Hamm, MD
HPV, or the human papillomavirus, causes 90 percent of all cervical cancer cases and is the most common sexually transmitted virus. An HPV vaccine is now available to females ages 9 to 26 ––even if you are already infected with the virus. Most health insurance companies cover the vaccine.
At this seminar, you will learn about HPV, living with HPV, how it’s spread, and how to prevent it. We will also discuss how the new vaccine works, who should get it, where, and why. Parents will also receive conversation starters for talking to their kids about HPV.
Young women along with and parents and their daughters ages 9 and up are encouraged to attend. Space is limited. Please register for this free seminar by Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at 407/303-1444, option 8. Refreshments will be served.
*The Barker Conference Rooms are located on the lower level at Florida Hospital Orlando, below the cafeteria. Parking in the King Street Parking Garage (which connects to the Medical Plaza near Orange Avenue) will be waived for seminar attendees. From the parking garage, just follow the signs to the seminar.
