ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 16, 2011 – The Florida Hospital Diabetes and Endocrine Center is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Juan Carlos Varón to its team of endocrinologists at their new location at Florida Hospital Kissimmee.  He will provide patients with advanced medical evaluation and treatment of diabetes, metabolism, and endocrine disorders.

Dr. Varón received his medical degree from the Universidad El Bosque in Columbia.  He completed his internal medicine residency and his endocrinology fellowship at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and is board certified in internal medicine, diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism.

“We are very excited to have a physician like Dr. Varón join our team of esteemed endocrinologists at the new Diabetes and Endocrine Center,” said Bill Haupt, administrator at Florida Hospital Kissimmee.  “With our new facility and new physicians, we hope to provide superior diabetic care to Osceola County residents.”

Dr. Varón is a member of the American Medical Association, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the Endocrine Society.  He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
