Imaging

An integral part of our ability to detect, diagnose and treat injury and ailments comes from our diverse array of advanced imaging technologies. Equally as impressive as the detection methods housed within our facilities are the specially trained radiologists and technicians who utilize them. Through careful collaboration with doctors and clinical staff, we are able to draw a clearer picture of the optimal course of treatment for each individual patient.

What are Imaging Services?
One of the keys to early diagnosis and treatment of leading diseases is detection.
Imaging, also called diagnostic radiology or diagnostic radiological imaging, uses various technologies — such as ultrasound, CT scans, MRI, nuclear medicine or digital X-ray — to diagnose and treat diseases and disorders.
Interventional radiology refers to a specialized area of radiology that uses X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound and other imaging technologies to guide percutaneous (through the skin) procedures to treat a variety of medical disorders without surgery. These minimally invasive procedures include biopsies, inserting catheters (thin tubes), draining fluids and opening narrowed blood vessels. Procedures performed by interventional radiologists are generally less risky, less costly and less traumatic and require less recovery time for the patient. In addition, many of these procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis, eliminating or reducing hospital stays. Schedule an appointment with one of our imaging specialists today.
