In the past three years, Florida Hospital has seen a 35 percent increase in inpatient
volumes.

2008, 18.5 percent of Florida's population will be 65 years of age or older. Additionally,
75 percent of this age group will require heart, cancer, or stroke care.

According to the U.S. Census bureau and Solucient (a health care research company),
over the next 10 years, Central Florida will see a 30 percent increase in population.

According to the American Hospital Association, Florida Hospital treats more inpatients
than any other hospital in the country.
