The staff at Florida Hospital Diabetes Institute is committed to helping people with diabetes live long, healthy and productive lives.  In fact, for nine years, the Institute has been recognized by the U.S. News & World Report as one of the top 50 programs in the country for diabetes care.  Last year alone, our board certified endocrinologists, certified diabetes educators, nurses and dietitians, exercise specialists and research nurses helped over 45,000 patients control and manage their diabetes.

At FHDI, we offer comprehensive education, medical treatment and support that address all of the components that comprise a successful program – from education classes, nutritional counseling, support groups and individual counseling, to insulin pump training, weight management and a fitness center.

Our endocrinologists also offer comprehensive care for people with thyroid and other endocrine disorders.  Working in consultation with your primary care physician, we use the latest treatment and technology for diabetes as well as other endocrine disorders.  This includes research efforts and clinical trials here at the Institute.
