Behavioral Health’s Assessment Center
Dedicated to the mental health and wellbeing of the community, Florida Hospital’s Behavioral Health Assessment Center serves as a convenient resource for mental health assessments and referrals to appropriate services.
Our Helpline staff is available 24 hours, 7 days a week and is always just a phone call away. All calls are completely confidential.
To reach the Helpline, call 407.303.8533 or Toll Free at 800.869.1616.
Skilled master’s level clinicians who are specially training and experienced conduct all mental health assessments. They carefully assess your needs, verify any mental health benefits you may have and provide a referral to a program that most closely meets your needs. If Florida Hospital doesn’t have a working relationship with your insurer, we will find a provider who does work with them and provide the necessary referral there.
The Assessment Center also treats patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
We have four inpatient units, including Intensive Treatment Unit North, Intensive Treatment Unit South, Progressive Treatment Unit and the Psychiatric Medical Unit. For outpatients, our team of staff psychiatrists provides a range of services, from initial evaluations to medication management. Each physician works closely with a variety of qualified therapists in the area to provide an uninterrupted continuity of quality patient care.
