Florida Hospital Celebrates Orlando Magic’s Trip to the NBA Finals with a Gift for the Smallest Fans
Babies born on home game days get free “A Little Magic” onesie and special cupcake
ORLANDO, Fla.
, June 9, 2009 – As the official hospital of the Orlando Magic for 20 years, Florida Hospital is growing the fan base of the team by offering a limited-edition Orlando Magic onesie to every baby born on a home game day during the NBA Finals. Families get a tasty Magic treat as well – an Orlando Magic cupcake from Sweet! By Good Golly Miss Holly. And, Orlando Magic’s mascot, STUFF, was on hand today at Winter Park Memorial Hospital to congratulate new mothers and fathers, and welcome the new bundles of joy into the world just in time for the big game.
“Baby Nora was great – she was taking it all in and opened her eyes when we said ‘Go Magic,’” said new father, Scott Garraughty. “There is so much energy in the town, it’s just neat to be a part of it.”
Winter Park Memorial Hospital – A Florida Hospital, Florida Hospital Orlando, Florida Hospital Altamonte and Florida Hospital Celebration Health are offering these gifts for the new little ones and their families as a reminder of this exciting time in the Central Florida community.
