ORLANDO, Fla., April 30, 2009 - Florida Hospital Centra Care has expanded its community hotline to respond to the many questions that it is receiving concerning swine flu.

“The purpose of the hotline is to keep the Central Florida community healthy and informed,” said Dr. Scott Brady, medical director of Florida Hospital Centra Care.  “At Florida Hospital Centra Care, our mission calls us to go beyond treating those who are ill, but educating those who are not. That is why we are expanding this hotline.”  

To obtain information about swine flu, members of the community can call 407-200-CARE(2273) and speak directly to a Centra Care team member.  The phone number will be staffed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday to Friday.  The hotline launched at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
