Medical Professionals

If it is requested, we will send physicians and nurses to Haiti. If you are a medical professional interested in traveling to Haiti, you may need to leave at a moment’s notice:

1. Make sure you have a valid American passport.
2. Make sure you receive the appropriate immunizations which can be provided at the Centra Care Travel Medicine Center at RDV Sportsplex. To schedule an appointment for any of your travel medicine needs, contact Centra Care Executive Services at RDV at 407-916-4540. During your office visit, the clinicians will able to guide each patient at the time of service on what vaccines are needed for their trip to Haiti. There are specifics vaccines that will be recommended for their travel.

Inbound

We have also begun to see evacuees from Haiti arriving in our community, some of whom have been hospitalized. We anticipate this number will grow, creating a need for qualified medical volunteers’ right here in Florida. If you are interested in joining the team of volunteers, please sign up and we will communicate the needs to you.
