Volunteer Opportunities With Pastoral Care

Individuals who are active in their local denominations or faith groups are encouraged to volunteer with the Florida Hospital Pastoral Care department.

To volunteer, all you have to do is apply for credentialing as volunteer clergy at Florida Hospital. You can get the application from the hospital’s Pastoral Care office. Volunteers receive basic training from the Volunteer Services department at the hospital.

After this basic training, the Pastoral Care department provides additional training and mentoring to prepare you for patient visits and offers ongoing sessions covering all aspects of providing spiritual care and support to our patients.
