Chaplain's Mission

Recognizing that comprehensive health care embraces the whole person – body, mind, and spirit – the goal of Pastoral Care Services is to emphasize the integration of the spiritual throughout all levels of care.

It is the purpose and mission of Pastoral Care Services at Florida Hospital to witness for Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, as spiritual caregivers to patients, families, friends and employees.

Through personal caring we demonstrate God's love throughout the spectrum of human experience. We believe that God recognizes the value of persons and offers forgiveness, redemption and restoration.

It is our purpose to support the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church through its organization and institutions.

We recognize our responsibility to the religious life of our community, helping to foster spiritual, emotional, physical and social wellbeing.
