I Was Praying for a Tree

“I am an employee at Florida Hospital East. My husband has been out of work for 9 months. Christmas to me this year was not going to be very happy. There were 3 wonderful women in the cafeteria I spoke to a lot, and they knew of my husband being out of work. I couldn’t afford a Christmas tree or presents this year and they knew it. Before I left the cafeteria I told them Merry Christmas and have a blessed and safe Christmas, and went to have my lunch. When I got back to my Dept there was a little Christmas tree waiting for me. Elaine, Mary and Rose pitched in and got our family one of the little Christmas tree they were selling. It made me cry, how wonderful people are, and how they pull together. I told them I was praying for a tree. Prayers are answered.”
