A 139-bed acute care facility with a rich heritage, Florida Hospital Fish Memorial opened its doors in 1952. Serving the growing needs of residents throughout Southwest Volusia County, the hospital was named for Judge Bert Fish, whose philanthropy led to the creation of Fish Memorial Hospital. His legacy includes the hospital that still bears his name, as well as countywide health care education efforts. Today, Fish Memorial is a full-service hospital providing inpatient and outpatient care and 24/7 emergency and critical care. As part of the Adventist Health System, the hospital can offer services that aren’t ordinarily available at the community level, including diagnostic imaging, radiation oncology, minimally invasive procedures and surgical services.
