Getting a Copy of Your Medical Records

At Florida Hospital we understand the importance of safeguarding your private and confidential medical records while still making them available to you for routine uses. This includes receiving copies of your records so that you can review them or to forward them to a healthcare professional of your choice.

You also have the right to request that changes be made to your health record. If you believe your record is incomplete or incorrect, you can request an amendment through your doctor or through Florida Hospital. If your request to amend your records is denied, you can still ask that your request be kept on file with your records.
